These storage units are pretty safe and climate-controlled. The ceilings are high for stacking but lighting isn't great in the units. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. The facility is huge so it could be a lengthy trip to get to your unit (costs the same as closer units) and they offer free carts, a few of which are easy to steer, some are much harder to steer and are wobbly. On busy weekends they disappear quickly. The staff aren't always very knowledgeable about the limitations of their discount offers and other details, and they won't tell you how limited access is to your unit or how poor their hours are before you move in. (Weekends in particular are very limited and they're closed on major holidays, despite some of them being popular moving weekends. You cannot access your storage unit if they are closed.)And a personal pet peeve of mine is they don't regulate how long you can leave your car in the unloading bays after you're done unloading or force consideration of leaving space for others. So people often park poorly and take up 2-3 spaces that others could park in at the loading bays. People wander off to reorganize their storage unit or something and leave their vehicles so others have no place to load or unload near the facility. Simple posting and enforcing some common sense and basic consideration on this would really go a long way, especially to offset the major inconvenience of their very limited weekend hours. So for the high cost to store here, these are some things that you might want to consider in deciding if it's the right place for you.
